The FLY Model Intermediate Crossbar is a roof rack system specifically designed for vehicles with a raised rail—those featuring a gap between the roof rail and the vehicle roof—and developed with a modern and aesthetic design philosophy. Thanks to the design of the aluminum bars positioned close to the vehicle, it offers an aesthetic appearance and a balanced structure. Due to this design, it is not compatible with vehicles equipped with a sunroof.

It cannot be used on vehicles without roof rails; different ACE series models are available for vehicles without roof rails.

FLY adapts to the position and angle of the roof rail on the vehicle, helping to distribute the load more evenly at the mounting points. This structure supports driving stability and reduces the effects of road-induced vibrations.

The aluminum body with high corrosion resistance and UV-resistant PA6 GF30 connection components have been selected for long-lasting use in various climatic conditions. The elastomer seals on the bar surface create an intermediate layer between the load and the bar, reducing the impact of sudden load movements and limiting the generation of friction-induced noise.

Technical Dimensions

Aluminum bars are compatible with T-Bolt fasteners. Maximum dimensions for T-Bolt: 20 mm channel width, 4 mm channel height, M8 bolt. The bars are also compatible with U-Type fasteners measuring 75 mm in width and 22 mm in height. If U-Type fasteners are to be used, it is recommended to verify that the accessories are compatible with these dimensions.

• Maximum 75 kg in a moving vehicle
• When parked, 2-bar system: 150 kg
• When parked, 3-bar system: 225 kg
• When parked, 4-bar system: 300 kg

• Before purchasing, ensure that the vehicle make, model, and year listed in the product title exactly match your vehicle. The product is manufactured with custom dimensions for each vehicle.
• It is recommended to remove the system from the vehicle when not carrying a load; continuous use while mounted can increase air resistance, negatively affecting fuel consumption and wind noise.
• On some vehicles, the roof dimensions taper from front to back; in this case, the long bar should be mounted at the front and the short bar at the rear.
